An original beach house weekender that over the years had been added on and added on and added on…To resolve inadequacies in the existing dwelling, the northern edge of the building was removed and the remaining site reconfigured. A planning strategy was devised for this project by Robert Takken AR:2 Architects to reflect the needs of a professional working couple with a new child. Features include a large open plan kitchen, living and dining area along the northern edge, opening onto an outdoor room. This renovation offers comfort, while providing variety and opportunities for relaxed living.
